Mr. Siya Sharma qualified as a doctor in India in 1989 and completed initial postgraduate training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. After a research fellowship at the University of Japan and working as an Assistant Professor at a teaching hospital in India, Mr. Sharma obtained his advanced training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in The East of England, South Western and London Deaneries working in a range of different hospitals including Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge.
Mr. Sharma has published award winning papers for the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Working as a Consultant within the NHS and as a member of the prestigious professional societies Mr. Sharma continues to develop his skills and update his knowledge to offer a wide range of gynaecological services within the private sector and NHS.
In addition to General Gynaecology, Mr. Sharma specialises in laparoscopy (key hole) surgery and Hysteroscopy surgery, pelvic ultrasound, and infertility management.

General gynaecological conditions – pelvic infections, pelvic pain, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and uterovaginal prolapse.
Pelvic Ultrasound to assess uterus (womb), endometrium (womb lining), ovaries, and ovulation monitoring.
Laparoscopy (key hole) surgery for conditions such as pelvic pain, pelvic adhesions, endometriosis, and ovarian cysts. Hysterectomy through key-hole surgery is offered in selected conditions.
Hysteroscopy (womb camera) surgery for small uterine (womb) polyps, fibroids, and adhesions.
