About me

I am a BACP and UKCP accredited psychotherapist, with 12 years' experience in counselling, psychotherapy and coaching. I work with individuals and couples, and supervise trainee therapists.

Through gentle exploration and with deep respect, I work with people as they make sense of their experience and find ways of dealing with it. I offer a range of therapeutic approaches to help people to understand painful and confusing feelings, and to move forward in life towards fulfilment and happiness.

Alongside a practice in Central London and Belsize Park, I tutor at the City Literary College in the psychology and counselling departments.

Areas of interest

I help people who are stressed, anxious or depressed, may be struggling with an eating disorder, recently bereaved or are trying to make sense of a difficult relationship.

I work with each client as an individual with a unique set of circumstances, so my approach will draw on different techniques depending on the person. I may use CBT, NLP coaching, 'stream of consciousness' talking therapy, analysis of patterns of behaviour, mindfulness for stress or visualisations that tap into the unconscious and find a deeper meaning there.

I also use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) to repair the effects of trauma.
