Seamus Phillips graduated from the University of Southampton in 1999, gaining distinction in Clinical Medicine. He decided at an early stage to follow a career in otolaryngology (ENT) and gained a place on the ENT training programme covering South East London, Kent and Sussex. During this time he completed higher training in voice pathology, and also a year in Sydney Australia as an Advanced Rhinology and Skull Base Fellow.
