About me

Mr Thomas is a Consultant General and Vascular Surgeon at Epsom and St. Helier Hospitals. He is also lead clinician for Thyroid surgery at ESTH and St Peter's Hospitals
Mr Thomas qualified from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital and completed his Higher Surgical Training on the South West Thames Rotation working on the Professional Units at St. George’s, St. Thomas’ and The Royal Marsden Hospitals. He also spent time in Cape Town and on laparoscopic units in Toulouse, France. Mr Thomas has 20 years experience of ultrasound scanning and offers a one-stop diagnostic service for vascular and thyroid patients.
Mr Thomas was awarded the Norman Tanner Medal for Surgery in 1988. He is a former President of the Nat. Assoc. of Vascular Trainees. Mr Thomas has published on a number of subjects including diagnosis in venous disease (Masters Thesis) aneurysm screening, day case laparoscopic surgery, minimally invasive parathyroid surgery and the use of bedside ultrasound in surgical diagnosis.
