About me

I trained at the University of Southampton Medical School graduating with distinction and Honours in 2001. I completed my specialist General and Colorectal surgical training in Wessex and the South West Thames Deaneries. This included rectal cancer surgical training (TME) at Basingstoke Hospital and Laparoscopic Colorectal training at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth.

Prior to starting at the Great Western Hospital, I was awarded a Nationally-appointed industry sponsored Laparoscopic Colorectal Fellowship at Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey. Here, I gained further experience and expertise in all aspects of Laparoscopic Colorectal work, Robotic surgery for rectal cancer and trans-anal endoscopic microsurgery (TEMS/TEO).

I was awarded an MSc in Leadership and Management
