About me

I have more than 20 years’ experience in gynaecology and am dedicated to improving women’s healthcare. I am actively involved in medical research and regularly teach and train both undergraduates and junior doctors.

I am deeply committed to providing women with superb care that is appropriate to their needs. Patients find me approachable, helpful, straightforward and calm; they trust me to inform them of their medical options in uncomplicated language that will leave them reassured about any next steps that might be required.

I specialise in diagnosing and treating gynaecological issues and am a specialist in gynaecological oncology. I have also specialised in laparoscopic surgery, colposcopy, and outpatient hysteroscopy. In 2005 I was awarded an MD for my research into molecular profiling of epithelial ovarian cancer.
