About me

After qualifying in 1995 I worked within the NHS, mainly in primary care, in Manchester, Halifax & Huddersfield where I gained broad experience of a wide range of different types of presentation. I left the NHS to concentrate fully on private practice in 2005.
I work as an integrated psychotherapist which means I am trained in a range of therapy approaches and match these to the needs and learning style of the individual patient. Since 2013 I have worked part time as a lecturer in Counselling & Psychotherapy at the University of Salford in Manchester where I work on under- and post- graduate training programmes and also the MSc in Dementia Care for healthcare professionals working with this condition in a variety of roles.
