About me
After qualifying in 1995 I worked within the NHS, mainly in primary care, in Manchester, Halifax & Huddersfield where I gained broad experience of a wide range of different types of presentation. I left the NHS to concentrate fully on private practice in 2005.
I work as an integrated psychotherapist which means I am trained in a range of therapy approaches and match these to the needs and learning style of the individual patient. After part time roles as a lecturer in Counselling & Psychotherapy at Bretton Hall College of the University of Leeds and the University of Salford in Manchester, I moved in 2018 to become Director of Studies for the Doctoral Counselling Psychology Training programme at Metanoia Institute/Middlesex University, London. I remain in clinical practice but my availability is limited currently to appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
