Mr Whitaker has worked as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at King’s College Hospital since January 2010 and performs both adult cardiac and thoracic surgery. He has a special interest in VATS (Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) and internal rib fixation.
Mr Whitaker trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery on the South East London Training Program (including King’s College Hospital, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals) and undertook a year of Fellowship training in Halifax, Canada. He has received the Certificate of Completion of Training and is on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Cardiothoracic Surgery.
