About me

Training and Degrees
I qualified as a medical practitioner after training at the Middlesex Hospital, University of London, obtaining the degrees M.B.B.S. I went on to train in Obstetrics and Gynaecology after spending some time as a general surgeon and obtaining the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1983. I then moved to into Obstetrics and Gynaecology where I became a specialist and have practised for over 30 years. I became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1986 (MRCOG) and a Fellow in 1993 (FRCOG)
I particularly specialise in Gynaecological surgery, and am very interested in the prevention and treatment of all types of gynaecological cancer. I have trained many young obstetricians as well as medical students and nurse practitioners in various aspects of my specialty. I am accredited as a colposcopist and trainer by the Briitsh Society for Colposcopy and cervical pathology
