About me

Ms Taylor qualified as a Podiatrist in 1990 at La Sainte Union College in Southampton, and has been committed to lifelong learning throughout her career culminating in Consultant Podiatric Surgeon. Her career as a Podiatrist spans 30 years working across the local community in South East London and Kent in both NHS and Private Practice. She gained a Consultant Podiatrist role in 2010 following extensive training as a Podiatric Surgeon. She holds a substantive NHS post as Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Sussex NHS, and practices independently at three excellent private Hospitals.

A leader in her podiatry field, she specialises in extended scope podiatry & surgery, and has held several posts within professional and clinical leadership. She is currently the Dean of Podiatric Surgery for the UK (2017-2020) and a surgical tutor of The College of Podiatry.

She sees children and adults with a wide range of foot problems, including skin lesions, heel pain, bunions, ingrowing toenails, toe problems/ hammer toes, neuroma, and recurring foot pain. The childrens foot clinic has a team of paediatric nurses and Consultant Anaesthetist at Chelsfield Park Hospital.

The scope of practice of a podiatrist/ podiatric surgeon is pathology of the foot and its associated structures.
