About me

I am a registered medical doctor who specialises in acupuncture. I hold a medical degree and PhD from University College London and an MSc in Western Medical Acupuncture, which is a contemporary adaptation of traditional acupuncture based on our current knowledge of anatomy and neurophysiology. I completed my postgraduate clinical training in acupuncture at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine am fully accredited by the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). I am currently an elected member of they BMAS council and professional services committee and chair the education committee. I regularly teach Western-style acupuncture techniques to regulated healthcare professionals and am Editor-in-Chief of the international acupuncture journal Acupuncture in Medicine (published by the BMJ).
