Dr Richard Lawrance (MBBS, Bsc, FRCP, PhD) is a consultant cardiologist with a specialist interest in imaging and heart failure. He is the Betsi Cadwaldr University Health Board lead for Heart Failure Services and has level 3 accreditation in adult echocardiography following a fellowship at the University of Alberta, Canada. He specialises in all aspects of adult echocardiography which is a vital test in diagnosing heart muscle and valve problems. This includes transthoracic, stress and transoesophageal echocardiography all of which are tests that do not involve X-ray exposure. He has a PhD in genetics of coroanry artery disease.
