Mr Mamdouh Shoukrey is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where he is also lead clinician for Minimal Access Gynaecological (keyhole) Surgery. He has introduced new Advanced Minimal Access surgical procedures at Dorset County Hospital including Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and Laparoscopic Resection for Advanced Endometriosis.
He holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from the University of Surrey. Mr Shoukrey’s techniques in advanced minimal access gynaecological surgery lead to quicker recovery from surgery, less scarring and postoperative pain. In addition he also routinely performs general gynaecological surgical procedures including abdominal and vaginal surgery.
He has presented scientific research papers at both national and international meetings, and has published articles in scientific journals in the field of minimal access surgery.
