About me

Dr Matthew Gould is a Consultant Chartered Clinical Psychologist with international, public and private sector experience of assessing and managing psychological risk and health in hazardous settings. For a global airline Dr Gould was the lead for Clinical Psychology and provided clinical risk assessments at selection and for special issuance medical certification for personnel employed in safety sensitive roles. Dr Gould managed survivors following a major aircraft accident and also for an airport ground handling provider following a terrorist attack. For the Armed Forces Dr Gould provided occupationally-focused mental healthcare and consulted to specialist services on hostage training and to a high-tech crime unit. Dr Gould visited Afghanistan to appraise the clinical activity and governance of the deployed Field Mental Health Team.
