- Cataract Full Pathway provider
I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Spire Elland Hospital .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.
Please call the Bupa Eye Care team to find out more about and to pre-authorise your treatment on 0345 600 7267.
- Refractive surgery
Ophthalmology has been a passion of mine for over a decade. I feel privileged to work in a branch of medicine that has constantly innovated and evolved and now has an array of successful life-changing treatment options for patients.
My training has been extensive and I have actively sought training in the most advanced, successful and safest forms of surgery. I am one of a handful of surgeons who is fellowship trained in treating both corneal disorders and glaucoma.
My practice of medicine has always had a firm emphasis on a patient centered approach. I value taking the time to ensure you are fully informed of your condition, of all the available treatment options and their relative risks and benefits. This is vital in making the correct choice for something as precious as your sight.

Fishing, fell-walking and football are the pastimes I enjoy most.
At the recent American Academy Meeting (the most prestigious international meeting) my presentations were awarded a prize for ‘best in category’ and another was selected as a highlight of the conference by MedScape (a major online medical news channel).
