Liane has over 20 years experience working in the NHS providing dietetic advice for a wide range of conditions. She now works part-time for the NHS as well as running a private practice based in Wantage, Oxfordshire.
Liane specialises in helping adults and teenagers to diagnose and manage their food intolerances and achieve relief from their symptoms including those of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), histamine intolerance and gluten sensitivity. She also provides expert support for the management of food allergies and coeliac disease.
Liane graduated with an MSc in Allergy (with distinction) through Southampton University in 2013. She is Diet Sheet Co-ordinator for the Food Allergy Specialist Group of the BDA and a member of the Gastroenterology Specialist Group of the BDA, the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and is on the Allergy UK advisory board. She is co-author of the Professional Guidelines for the Dietary Management of IBS for Dietitians and has co-written resources on IBS and food allergies used by dietitians nationally.
