I am UK trained Consultant Paediatric Surgeon and I am on the GMC's Specialist register of Pediatric Surgery.
I have exclusive Paediatric Practice and I joined University Hospital of Wales in 2010 after completion of training and subspecialist Paediatric Urology experience at the Great Ormond Street Hospital and Evelina London Hospital (Guy's and St Thomas')
I was involved in research works and major change in practice for follow up of babies born with hydronephroses (MCh Thesis) and patients with abdominal sepsis after surgery (MS Thesis)
My work at St Thomas' hospital focused on the management of patients with severe constipation and explored the role of Botulinum Toxin.
I have developed laparoscopic urological surgery and complex hypospadias surgery at Cardiff.
I enjoy recommend working in collaboration with other specialities to facilitate management of patients with complex medical problems.
I am the Lead for Bladder service which looks after patients with a range of bladder dysfunction and my team has now invigorated the adolescent urology services and working on introduction of new treatment modalities
I look after the entire range of emergency general paediatric surgery routine and complex paediatric urology/ prenatal and post natal counselling/ followups/ bladder bowel dysfunction
