I am an interventional cardiologist with a secondary clinical interest in cardiac CT. My highest priority is delivering first class care to my patients. I have enjoyed an excellent clinical training in Oxford, Cambridge, London, Bristol and Paris. I have been a Consultant Cardiologist at Morriston Cardiac Centre in Swansea since October 2010.

After completion of pre-clinical medical training at Bart’s and the London medical school I moved to Oxford for the clinical course. This was followed by a 2 year medical rotation in Cambridge. My subspecialty training in Cardiology began at UCH, London as a clinical fellow before obtaining my NTN and subsequently completing Cardiology & GIM specialist training in the South West region. I then complemented my interventional experience at the Bristol Heart Institute with a one year interventional fellowship at Bichat in Paris under the tutelage of Prof Gabriel Steg and Prof Alec Vahanian.
Interventional cardiology experience
I am fully trained in all aspects of Coronary Intervention and have a significant grounding in structural heart disease intervention. I have been a guest faculty member at Advanced Cardiovascular Intervention and performed live PCI cases on BBC regional TV and at EuroPCR.

My principal research interests lie in applied health research and risk stratification in stable coronary artery disease. I have presented papers, cases and abstracts at a large number of international meetings including EuroPCR, European Society of Cardiology, British Cardiac Society, Advanced Cardiovascular Intervention, Transcatheter therapeutics and EuroPCR.
