Dr Ajith James trained in Nephrology in Barts and Royal London Hospitalsand in General Medicine in Whipps Cross and Southend University Hospitals. Dr James was appointed as a consultant Nephrologist and Physician, jointly by Barts Health NHS Trust and Barking Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust in 2009.
He practices Acute Kidney diseases, Transplant Medicine and pre-dialysis-care in Royal London Hospital. In addition, he currently manages a dialysis unit in King George Hospital and is the clinical lead for Renal Services in King George and Queens Hospitals. Dr James has wide-spread experience in Nephrology, hypertension, general medicine and critical care.
