Mrs Rao holds the following qualifications: CCT UK 2006, MRCOG RCOG 1998, MD (O&G), India 1995, MBBS (Hons) 1990 and Certificate in Learning and Teaching 2006.
Mrs Rao is Clinical lead for Early Pregnancy Services and Vulval Diseases and Obstetric lead for Maternity Services Risk Management team for Halton PCT. Acted as Honorary Secretary for North of England O&G Society, Teaching and RCOG tutor and Undergraduate tutor, Regional teaching for Specialist trainees and Mentor for Early Pregnancy Ultrasound module for Salford University.
Faculty for Basic surgical skills. Honorary Clinical lecturer for Liverpool University. ATSM preceptor for acute gynaecology and vulval diseases.
