About me

I qualified form Glasgow University in 1995 and remained here for my basic training. My Specilaist Registrar training was based in Nottingham. During my time there I worked for directly for several foot and ankle surgeons. During my time there I gained considerable experience in managing major trauma and Queens Medical Centre has since been elevated to a Level One Trauma Centre. I was also worked in the Derby Hand Unit and gained a fellowship in hand surgery.
I am currently the only consultant in The Victoria Infirmary with a specialist interest in foot and ankle surgery including trauma.
I am also the lead clinician within my unit in teaching the medical students and heavily involved in the current redesign of the Glasgow Medical School Curriculum.
