About me

My practice is informed by over 30 years in the public sector, initially as a junior school teacher then as a social worker. I later specialised in adult mental health but have experience with all ages of children, young people and adults - and all types of difficulty. Please see my website for further details.

I'm a former mental health team social worker now providing psychotherapy for all common psychological difficulties and mental health problems (Depression, Anxiety/Worry/Panic, Adjustment Disorders, Phobias, OCD, BDD, Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Voice-Hearing etc). I have a particular interest in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and the other lesser traumas that tend to underpin many psychological problems. I also work with the impact of physical illnesses or conditions, including pain.
