I was appointed a consultant surgeon to the Newcastle Teaching hospitals in 1988. I am employed by Newcastle University as Professor of surgery.
My NHS and private practice mirror each other in terms of conditions treated and proceedures.
I work with colleagues in Reconstructive surgery where needed and am part of the breast and endocrine multidisciplinary teams.
