About me

I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist from the University of Surrey in September 2002 and since then have been working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in the NHS. I have worked in in-patient as well as out-patient services in different teams in Kent. Through this
work I gained extensive experience of providing therapeutic support to children with a variety of behavioural and emotional difficulties which may be linked to home life, school, friendships,
health and developmental problems. As part of my work I carry out extended assessments including cognitive assessments using psychometric tools and provide comprehensive reports
with recommendations for future support. I have experience of working in different theoretical models and am able to work with children and young people individually as well as with families
using evidence-based approaches. I also provide placements and supervision to Trainee Clinical Psychologists undergoing their doctoral training. I contribute to postgraduate training courses as an external speaker. I have a particular interest in working with adolescents in general but more specifically working with young people following a trauma
or who present with eating difficulties. I have recently started working in private practice where I have worked with both adults and children.

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Care Professions Council and the British Psychological Society. My approach is always collaborative and I believe that through working together we are able to bring about the changes that work best for you.
