About me
My name is Liza Heatley and I am an accredited Psychotherapist working in the NHS and in Marldon, Devon.
My primary modality is Transactional Analysis which is a theory of behaviour and personality. I am also trained to work flexibly with a range of different models including, gestalt, person centred and existential theories, tailoring the approach to the client. I work with young people and adults.
I am an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKATA) and British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My work is carried out in accordance with UKCP's ethical guidelines for practice. I am affiliated to a number of Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP)s
I work with many different issues including abuse, anger, anxiety, bereavement, depression, gender dysphoria, low self esteem, major life changes, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),problems in the workplace, relationship and personal issues, sexuality, stress and trauma. This is not an exclusive list.
