About me

I am a Consultant Gynaecologist and the lead for Gynaecological Oncology and Colposcopy service at the Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. I am Royal College accredited in laparoscopic surgery, gynaecological ultrasound , colposcopy and has a special interest in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and management of early gynaecological cancer.

I am also a BSGE accredited Endometriosis surgeon and lead the Stockport Endometriosis Centre, a tertiary referral service for complex cases. I wors with a range of experts to offer a holistic care pathway for pelvic pain and collaborates with surgical specialists in Colorectal surgery and Urology when radical surgery for endometriosis is required.
I offer laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for the treatment of fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, adhesions and early endometrial cancer. I perform most keyhole surgeries as day case procedures including laparoscopic hysterectomy and removal of ovaries, fibroids and cysts.
I believe this enhances recovery and rapid return to normal activities with minimal post surgical sequelae.
