About me

I take great personal satisfaction in helping my patients achieve their goals, whether that is to walk more comfortably, return to sport after injury or to run a marathon. I enjoy working with athletes of all levels from the novice runner to professional sports men and women, and I regularly work with Sport Scotland supported athletes, PGA tour golfers and professional footballers.

Having graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2001 with a BSc in Podiatry, I have gone on to work in various specialist roles. I have previously held positions in Biomechanics and Orthopaedics in the NHS, as well as a position at Edinburgh University’s renowned FASIC sports medicine clinic.

I am committed to continued professional development and take pride in providing evidence based best practice. Since graduating, I have gained post graduate certificates in joint mobilisation techniques, steroid injection therapy and prescription only medicine. I have completed a PGDip in Podiatric Surgery from Queen Margaret University. In 2017 I was also admitted as a member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Out of work I enjoy spending time with my young family, traveling, cooking and going to the gym. Sport has always played a huge part of my life, having played Rugby for Perthshire RFC and Heriot’s RFC.
