About us

Debbie is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 29 years’ experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She has worked in the private sector for 24 years. Debbie qualified in 1991 in Glasgow with a BSc in Physiotherapy. She later qualified as an acupuncturist for pain relief in 1997 and in 1998 attained the Advanced Certificate in Physiotherapy in Occupational Health. After 5 years in the NHS she worked full time for 3 years in Occupational Health with Scottish Power. She has since been part time in Occupational Health and private practice for 20 years and worked as a volunteer Physiotherapist in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Areas of interest

All joint, ligament, tendon and muscle injuries and pains (back pain, neck pain, sports and dance injuries, falls and trips) for teenagers and adults using manual therapy, acupuncture, ultrasound where appropriate and exercises; Stress-induced chronic pain treatment for all ages.
