About me

Ahmad Malik is a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon and Director of The London Foot and Ankle Clinic based at The Princess Grace Hospital, The Chiltern Hospital and Thames Valley Hospital.

Ahmad Malik graduated from Glasgow University Medical School and then went onto to train in Orthopaedic Surgery in London. Ahmad Malik further sub specialised in Foot and Ankle Surgery undertaking a fellowship at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney Australia and at the Surrey Foot and Ankle Fellowship, UK. Ahmad Malik took up a substantive Consultant post at Buckinghamshire NHS Trust in 2011 where he also served as clinical director for 3 years before resigning in 2017. He now works solely in private practice.

Ahmad Malik ensures he is up to date with the latest proven surgical techniques and treats all aspects of foot and ankle pathology including Foot and Ankle Trauma (Ankle Fractures, Foot Fractures, Tibial Fractures), Achilles Tendon Pathology (Achilles Tendinopathy, Acute Achilles Tendon Rupture, Chronic Achilles Tendon Rupture), Acute and Chronic Ankle Sprains, Ankle Sports Injuries, Heel Pain, Forefoot Pain and Deformity (Bunions, Hallux Rigidus, Hammer toe, Morton's Neuroma), Calf Tightness, and Arthritis of the Foot and Ankle.

Ahmad Malik passionately believes that his role as a surgeon and clinician is to accurately diagnose a patient, inform and educate them of their condition and finally empower them to make the right choices regarding their treatment.

To help achieve this goal, Ahmad Malik designed a website (www.lfaclinic.co.uk) which is a comprehensive resource and educational tool for patients. Ahmad Malik believes that the more informed and knowledgable a patient is about their foot problem, the better the final outcome of any treatment and equally important, the patient experience.
