About me

I am an extensively trained interventional cardiologist and I am currently working as a consultant interventional cardiologist at the Worcestershire acute hospitals NHS trust. I was earlier working as a consultant interventional cardiologist at the Royal Shrewsbury hospital and University hospital of North Staffordshire. I did my cardiology training from the west midlands deanery. Till date, I have performed over 2500 percutaneous coronary interventions with nationally recognised excellent clinical outcomes.. I am a proficient radial as well as a femoral operator. I am fully trained in a wide variety of complex percutaneous interventional techniques including the use of adjunctive devices like intravascular ultrasound, pressure wire evaluation, aspiration thrombectomy, laser thrombectomy, rotational atherectomy and distal embolic protection devices. 

In addition to extensive training in interventional cardiology, I have wide experience in general cardiology and have a keen interest in pacing. I am fully trained in transthoracic echocardiography. 
I have published original articles and editorials on several areas of clinical cardiology
