About me

I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon in York specialising in foot and ankle conditions. I am currently Clinical Director of the Orthopaedic Department at York Hospital. I am an expert in treating deformity in diabetic feet, with a special interest in sports injuries including ligament tears heel pain and arthritis.

I am the lead Surgeon on the Medical Advisory Committee for York. I am Sector Tutor lead Consultant in Registrar Training. I teach regularly on local national and international courses. I have presented and published research on the foot and ankle both nationally and internationally.
I live in York with my wife, 2 sons and 3 Golden Retrievers, I have an interest in cars, Liverpool FC! rugby, tennis and history.
