About me
Dr Deepa Grover was appointed as a Consultant in Genitourinary medicine and HIV at the Royal Free Hospital and Barnet Hospital in 2008, having trained in Genitourinary / HIV medicine at The Mortimer Market Centre, University College Hospital, London. She qualified from University College Hospital Medical School, London.
Her clinical practice includes the diagnosis, screening and management of bacterial and viral sexually transmitted infections. She also manages recurrent vaginal infections, including recurrent Candida and Bacterial Vaginosis. She has a special interest in the treatment of Genital skin conditions including vulval and penile skin conditions, and also vulval pain.
She also manages HIV positive patients and currently runs the anoscopy service for HIV positive patients at RFH with her surgical colleagues.
Her research interest includes screening and management of Anal intraepithelial neoplasia in HIV infected patients.
She also sits on the BASHH (British association for sexual Health and HIV) guideline CEG group and reviews and edits guidelines specific to the management of sexually transmitted infections.
