I am an experienced gastroenterologist who practices in the local area. My interests and expertise encompass all aspects of gastroenterology but my main interest is in Irritable Bowel Syndrome and bowel motility as well as performing safe, comfortable endoscopy to rule out any other pathology when appropriate.
My aim is to provide a sensitive, unhurried consultation where the patient is listened to as this is the most important step in making a diagnosis.

I am happy to provide stimulating and interactive talks on a wide variety of subjects but have a particular interest in disseminating good practice in the management of functional bowel disorders
I am an accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Colonoscopist with a caecal intubation rate of 98%, an adenoma detection rate of over 50% and some of the best patient comfort scores in the region.
During my revalidation in 2014, 100% of randomly selected patients surveyed stated that they would recommend me to friends and family.
