About me

I work as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and psychodynamic counsellor within my private practice, Stort Psychotherapy, in Bishop's Stortford. This is based in town centre premises on the first floor, accessed by stairs.
I have long term and broad experience and can work with you on a short term or long term basis. If you are a Bupa patient we will work together with Bupa to clarify the number of funded sessions available and I can also liaise with other health professionals such as your GP if it is necessary or helpful to do so.
Please feel free to call or email to discuss what you would like to address in therapy, even if you are unsure, to find out whether it may be helpful for you. If you arrange an initial session to find out how it works and what it feels like you are not obliged to continue.
I am also a trainer and tutor and supervise other psychotherapists and counsellors.
