Paul Harris is an Integrative (Child) Psychotherapist and Supervisor MA UKCP, (MBACP) working with adults, children, young people and families. Paul offers individual, group and family sessions in private practice, working in SW9, (Brixton) and W1G, (Harley Street).
Over the past 20 years Paul has worked with children, young people and their families in a variety of professional contexts including, CAMHS, ( Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services); Addiction and Treatment Services; Education & the Community Arts; Social Services; Fostering & Adoption; and Play & Youth Services.
He is committed to working empathically and safely at all times with issues ranging from trauma and addiction, to anxiety, depression and sexuality. His work is founded upon a profound integration of theoretical approaches and evidence based research that allow him to create a bespoke therapy in the service of each individual client. As such, he embraces the fundamental principles of psychodynamic psychotherapy accompanied by a thorough underpinning of body-oriented (somatic) approaches along with concepts originating from Gestalt, TA , Attachment theory and Neuroscience. Paul is also trained in the therapeutic use of the arts and creativity as an integral part of the healing process.
Paul trained at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, ( IATE ) where he is also a member of faculty.
