About me

I am a consultant neurologist at St George’s and Kingston Hospitals. I have an interest in all neurological conditions and have provided a general neurology service at Kingston Hospital since 2010.

I have a specialist interest in cognitive neurology and dementia and am Clinical Director of the NHS London Dementia Clinical Network.

I provide a multi-disciplinary cognitive neurology service at St George’s Hospital offering diagnosis, treatment and support for all types of cognitive disorder, including young-onset and atypical dementias. I have developed a support group for people living with young-onset dementia:

I studied medicine at Cambridge and UCL, qualifying in 1998. From 2002-2006 I held research posts at KCL Institute of Psychiatry and subsequently at UCL Institute of Neurology.

I have research interests in functional cognitive disorders and delirium and in clinical trials in Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia.
