I offer Bupa customers standard cataract surgery on the Full Pathway package option at Ramsay North Downs Hospital, Spire Gatwick Park Hospital, Ramsay Ashtead Hospital .
This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

Mr Ijaz Sheikh is a consultant ophthalmologist based at Surrey and Sussex NHS healthcare trust.
Mr Sheikh has over 30 years of experience in different subspeacilites within ophthalmology. He offers consultations for all eye complaints including red eye, painful eye, dry eye, watery eye, blurry vision, floaters and flashing lights.
He is a comprehensively trained ophthalmologist with special interest in cataract surgery especially with diseases of the retina, medical retina conditions and eyelid surgery.
He provides a prompt, patient centred and customised service for all his patients, using the latest techniques and instruments for the highest professional standards.
Mr Sheikh has several international publications and presentations and is actively involved in the teaching and training of other ophthalmologists, optometrists and nurses.
He is currently engaged in developing Deep learning and Artificial intelligence based diabetic retinopathy assessment in the developing countries.
He is also an examiner for the royal college of ophthalmologists
