About me

Seb Sturridge was born in London, educated at Ampleforth College and studied medicine at University College London. He was a research fellow at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and went on to higher surgical training through Guy's, St. Thomas' and King's Hospitals. He was fellowship trained in hip & knee revision surgery in Melbourne, Australia and then at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. He was appointed the Guy's Hip Fellow in 2010 where he developed his interest in young adult hip surgery and minimally invasive surgery techniques.

He has published and lectured on hip & knee surgery internationally, and continues to review papers for the Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery. He sits on the South East Thames Specialist Training Committee & continues to teach and examine the higher surgical trainees in the region. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the Britsh Hip Society.

Seb sees patients presenting with all hip & knee conditions but has subspecialist interest in sports related hip injuries, young adult hip surgery, hip arthroscopy, and hip & knee replacement.

Seb is married to Lydia, who is a cardiologist, and they have two young children.
