ABOUT ME PROFESSIONALLY AND PERSONALLY
I am a therapist and coach (having been trained as both a CBT Therapist & Life Coach).
I am an openly gay man and I know personally the the importance of feeling safe when receiving therapy. Without starting from a base of safety, therapy doesn't and can't work.
Safety is the base but not the destination. This is where CBT and Coaching come in. I am here to help you feel safe so that you can do the work you need to do, to live the life that works best for you.
I aim not only to help you learn tools to enable you to get out of any holes that you may find yourself in as quickly as possible, but then to help you learn tools & strategies to be able to begin climbing the mountain of your dreams.
Using the latest applied neuroscience, studies show that in as little as 8 weeks, it is possible to rewire your brain so that your Alarm system is turned way down & the relationship you have with yourself is greatly improved – for life! In my practice I see people do this all the time!
ARE WE A GREAT FIT?
I know personally what it is like to receive unhelpful or even bad therapy & I only want the clients I work with to have outstanding life changing experiences.
For this to happen, I only work with people where we both agree that we are an excellent fit. When this happens, the chance of realizing deep & lasting life change goes up dramatically & the time it takes to achieve this change is also greatly shortened.
WHAT IS A 'TEST DRIVE APPOINTMENT'?
If after reading my profile, you feel we could be a great fit, then I definitely would like to speak with you.
I call this first meeting a 'Test Drive Appointment' These meetings generally last between 50 to 60 minutes.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A 'TEST DRIVE'?
During this time, I will ask you what you are seeking help with, & then at the end, if I truly believe I can help you learn neuroscience backed & evidenced based tools to transform your life, I will propose a concrete plan of action.
If at the end of your 'Test Drive", I feel that my approach is not the best fit for what you are seeking, I will be honest with you & may make suggestions of colleagues I work with or provide other resources for you to find a therapist.
I promise to treat you the way I would wish to be treated, as well as how I would wish for my loved ones to be treated when seeking help.

It is rare (even during Covid) that I work with people for more than 20 sessions and my average is 16.
