About me

Trained in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine in East Anglia and completed specialist training in 2009 . Appointed in 2009 as locum consultant in rheumatology at West Suffolk hospital. Thereafter he worked as substantive consultant in Rheumatology at Peterborough and Stamford Hospital from 2010 to 2013.Joined United Lincoln trust as a full-time NHS consultant in Rheumatology in November 2013. He completed Masters in Rheumatology from King's College in London in 2010 with Merit. He is a member of British society of rheumatologists and royal college of physicians.He provides clinic based rheumatology service from Lincoln county hospital, pilgrim hospital and Johnson Hospital at Spalding in hub and spoke model.

He does NHS and private clinics at Fitzwilliam on Friday pm and Saturday AM

Dr. Joshi provides a full general Rheumatology service treating all forms of arthritis (rheumatoid, psoriatic, osteoarthritic etc.) together with management of back pain, sciatica, all forms of joint pain and soft tissue rheumatism. Special interest and expertise in diagnosis and management of early inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases and Fibromyalgia.

He routinely uses musculoskeletal ultrasound in diagnosis and treatment of patients with inflammatory arthritis. He is involved in specialist registrar training and is the educational supervisor for Foundation doctors and specialist registrar in rheumatology.
