About us

Dr Chris Willars graduated from University College London Medical School in 1998. He trained in General Medicine and then in Anaesthesia with the South Eastern School of Anaesthesia (London Deanery). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and enjoys dual specialist accreditation. He was appointed as a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine at King’s College Hospital, London as in 2010.

His specialist areas of expertise include liver failure, peri-operative medicine and cardiovascular dynamics. He leads on risk assessment including invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary testing and has an interest in diagnostic right heart catheterisation and the management of right heart dysfunction and pulmonary hypertension in acute and chronic liver disease.
