My interest & specialism falls within the area of common & perinatal mental health. I’ve developed a group treatment for post-natal depression which has been extremely successful, evident in outcome measures. I will be running a series of one-day workshops in Wimbledon, SW19 and East London, EC1V aimed to provide practical skills to manage maternal mood by reducing fear and worry.
As a HypnoBirthing Practitioner I am able to provide expecting parents with a complete antenatal programme, focusing on a combination of education, hypnotherapy, self-hypnosis & deep relaxation successful in assisting women to achieve a more comfortable birth, particularly useful for those who feel anxious concerning pregnancy and labour. My work is underpinned by psychological theory & practice to manage your thoughts, feelings & behaviours.
I have a Post Qualification Certificate in Behavioural Couples therapy provided by Professor Don Baucom, Dr Michael Worrell and Professor Sarah Corrie at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust’s Post Graduate Programmes in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy.
