About me

The main aim of the therapy: Exploring with the client how present and past events - immigration, job loss, social exclusion at school, birth of a sibling or other changes within the family and around it - are represented and understood in ways that lead to maladaptive behaviour (e.g. obsessive-compulsive behaviour, disruptive interaction patterns) and/or a variety of emotional symptoms (depression, anxiety, delusions, eating disorders etc.). This leads to emotional and behavioural changes. I also work with children who present with communication difficulties along the autistic spectrum (e.g. Asperger). When working with children, I regularly see the parents for consultations around patterns of parenthood and when necessary, liaise with school and other social services.
