About me

I graduated from University College London in 1998 with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and I specialise in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). These are time-limited talking therapies which focus on relationships and behaviours to help you to understand yourself better and turn your life around.
My experience as a therapist is from working in the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist and privately as a therapist in England for many years, living and working abroad in an organisation offering therapy including India and South East Asia. I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist and therapist with numerous and complex issues such as relationship difficulties and divorce; grief and bereavement; low self-esteem; infertility, adoption and raising children; identity and ethnicity; debt management and stress; bullying, abuse and neglect; as well as the more traditionally known mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and personality difficulties to name but a few. Over the years I have assimilated my training in Clinical Psychology and CAT Practitioner and Supervisor experience working as a therapist such that it is easily accessible to ordinary people in a fun and respectful way.
