In 1997 I was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Canniesburn Hospital in Scotland specialising in Facial Deformity and Head and Neck surgery.
In July of 2000 I was invited to join the Plastic Surgery and Craniofacial Unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children where I now lead the Craniofacial Service. I am a member of the Adult Craniofacial Service based at University College London Hospital and the Eastman Dental Hospital.
I am co lead for the GOSH charity funded research project “Face Value” based at the Institute of Child Health.
I take an active role in training Plastic Surgeons in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. I lecture regularly, and participate in training organised through the Royal College of surgeons, BAPRAS and Royal society of Medicine.
