About me

My background is social work, counselling and psychotherapy. I qualified as a psychodynamic psychotherapist in 1990. Following experience from working with victims of the Bradford Football Stadium Fire in 1985 I specialised for several years in providing crisis care following traumatic incidents. I qualified as a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist in 2009 and achieved accreditation with BABCP (British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy).
I now practice CBT and counselling using a dedicated consulting room in my home.
