About me

Anxiety and feeling low or overwhelmed by our busy lives is familiar to most of us.

When those feelings become intense and seem unbearable, it can help to talk to an experienced listener outside the family and friend group.

I have conversations with my clients about whatever is troubling them from a respectful position.
In those conversations, I pay attention to the connections between behaviours and the meaning attributed to them.

I focus on the patterns of communication and the influence these might have on the clients’ identified difficulties.
Relationships with self and others can change with a different understanding of the meanings put onto communication.

The conversations are guided in a way that feels comfortable to the clients.

In practice, this means I pay attention to pace and language as well as respecting differences of culture, race, gender, ability, personal beliefs, age.
