About us

Kirsten qualified from the University of Cape Town in 2001. Since then she has worked in various private and NHS clinics including the Sports Science Institute of South Africa. Kirsten uses a variety of Physiotherapy and Osteopathic techniques to treat her patients. Kirsten has a strong focus on hands on manual therapy and likes to take a holistic approach to treatment. Kirsten is trained in the Stecco Method of Fascial Manipulation as well as
Medical Acupuncture, the Graston Techniques and the Sarah Key Method. Other techniques include Myofascial release, treatment of Pelvic Girdle Pain in pregnancy and she is a qualified Pilates instructor through the APPI. Kirsten is highly experienced at treating Musculoskeletal conditions and regularly attends courses to improve her skills and knowledge. Kirsten has also developed close links with Orthopaedic Consultants in the surrounding areas.

Steve qualified in 2008 from Southampton University, having previously obtained a BSc in Sports Science. Steve gained experience working in the NHS prior to moving into private practice where he has worked since 2009. Steve has a strong focus on manual therapy which he accompanies with exercise prescription. Steve is qualified in the Stecco method of Fascial Manipulation, medical and trigger point acupuncture and the Sarah Key Method. Other techniques include Myofascial release, Spinal Manipulations, and he is a qualified personal trainer. Steve is highly experience at treating Musculoskeletal conditions and he regularly attends courses to improve his skills and knowledge. Steve has a background in sport having played a high level of Rugby and Cricket. He now enjoys Golf and Crossfit. Steve uses a Holistic approach to treatment and is happy to discuss matters surrounding exercise, treatment and nutrition with his patients.

Both clinicians are full trained in Spinals and Peripheral Manipulation techniques.
