About me

I have been a consultant in Clinical Genetics in Bristol since 1999. My interest in genetics stems from an intercalated B.Sc ( 1st class Honours ) while a medical undergrauate in Glasgow.
From 1992-95 I worked for the Medical Research Council in Jamaica at the Sickle Cell Unit where I developed an interst in haemoglobinopathies. But subsequently as a geneticist I have specialised in hereditary cancers, although my work encompassess many different aspects of genetics.
