About me

I went to medical school in Madras (now Chennai). After gaining my diploma in orthopaedics in Madras I completed my basic surgical training in Wales. I completed my orthopaedic training in Sheffield. I then specialised in shoulder and elbow surgery by doing fellowship in Sheffield and Derby.

I am currently a consultant orthopaedic shoulder and elbow surgeon in Rotherham General Hospital.

Areas of interest

I specialise in all aspects of Shoulder and elbow surgeries.
SHOULDER:These include arthroscopic surgery for shoulder dislocations, rotator cuff surgery, biceps tendon problems(SLAP), surgery for frozen shoulder, impingement ,shoulder replacements(partial and total and reverse),AC joint injuries
ELBOW: arthroscopic elbow procedures, tennis elbow and golfers elbow, elbow stiffness, elbow arthritis, distal biceps ruptures, elbow replacements.cubital tunnel release
HAND:carpal tunnel decompression

I also provide a comprehensive shoulder and elbow trauma service.
